Interstellar Travel Package
a short game with six levels, each on a different planet with different physical laws and, maybe, aliens.
use A and D or the ARROW KEYS to move, SPACE for jump, E to interact and TAB or ENTER to open the menu into the levels
this is my first game, for the first jam that i participate. I have made all assets, arts, musics alone and would love all feedback.

I must say, this game looks really nice! I have a question I would like to ask/discuss and would like to get in contact with you; what is the best way for me to go about doing so? (:
thanks, you can send me a e-mail: ramon.cavalcante@gmail.com
very nice game , loved it but I think you can add a description to each planet something like temperature , gravity etc. which would sound good
I hadn't thought about it, good idea
thanks!
Congrats on the game. A simple premise but really good execution!
Art is gorgeous and the gameplay varied. Nice job!
thank you, i'm really happy with the result of my first one, anda already making the next one
The art is amazing! The movement mechanics are good also
very cool! love the art!
It's really awesome ! moving is slow and feel jump in space. your graphics are very nice especially animations. You also add some differents mechanics it's very interesting.
Really nice one!
Really liked the artstyle, it's dynamic and vibrant. Also liked the slippery level premise, it presented a bit of challenge and the movement complemented it really well, my only complaint is that the movement in some levels is very slow, although I suppose that's kinda what happens up there. Overall a pretty good game nonetheless.
We ended up having the same terminal/astronaut platformer too, that's funny.
thanks!
yeah, in the final version i already speeded up a little in some planets, but i really wanted to be a little slow. i think if its was a longer game that would be a bigger problem, but for a short one, like this, i thinked it was ok.
i ll check your game too!
thanks again
This is stunning! Your pixel art is beautiful and really makes a great atmosphere for your game. I particularly like those animations after the level is completed.
My only criticism is that I found myself falling a lot by bumping my head when climbing up. Perhaps you could consider moving the camera down so we can see more of whats important.
Other than that, brilliant job please keep it up!
I really like this idea of moving the camera down. I will definitely test this.
thank you! that support is really nice, it's my first game and i'm very happy with those feedbacks
Whoa! this has really amazing art and animation. Love the sound design as well as the different mechanics in each level!
thank you! thats really amazing to know
Hello.exe
I have loved the game.
The graphic and sound design of each level is exquisite, playing it is very relaxing and fun, The mechanics of higher jump and activating platforms are very well planned and the levels are very well designed and measured.
Great game!
Sublime!
thank you!
I entered the jam with the aim of completing the game, I had never done all these steps, menu, track. so I was already very happy to be able to finish everything. but I confess that I was very satisfied with the result and looking forward to making other games.
that kind of feedback really helps
I thought my pixel arts were good in my last game owo
thank you! I almost couldn't stop drawing and adding things
I found your game in a facebook group i participate and i got interested and came to see.
Firstly your game looks awesome, really, i found the art really unique and pretty.
Secondly the gameplay i loved how you make the mechanics different for every planet, besides from making the game interesting it makes the player want to know what mechanic will be shown next
Now, apart from the compliment i found some bugs in the game, pretty minor stuff but would be good to be fixed in a next update. There are 2 that i found, first one is that whenever you finish the level if you interact with the objective a second time, the burning animation starts again, only in the ball.
the second one is a black screen appears from the second time you interact with the goal.
Just wanted to say because i really liked your game. You have a lot of potential, Keep it up!
nice, thank you very much!
these are bugs that I would never find alone, but that are simple! I will correct it.
very happy that you liked it. I am very satisfied with this first experience, already thinking about the next ideas
Really awesome game.
I like the art, It is very good and the photos and animations are also so nice.
the levels are good.
and there are some improvements that can be done.
1.ADD A MENU (cus i encountered a problem and had to do all over again and also i lost count of how many i did).
2.A restart button would add freedom to player.
3. the levels can be less repetitive by adding puzzling element(they are not repetitive now but since we have only three controls the puzzling element is not so effective).
4. Prob: In a planet (I GUESS PLANET 5) the platforms are disappearing after sometime. I crossed them first time but when I fall and try to climb again they are disappearing very fast )
thank you for the feedback!
thats very kind.
yeah, a menu with pause and restarting current level and choose one of the levels its a nice idea (and easy to implement, i think). you're right and i'm doing it now.
in the last planet, 6, the platforms really disappear, and fast. thats the catch. i think maybe need to add some effects, or add some time. but i wanted the last level to be a little hard, so i really don't know.
yeah, i already made more monster, with effects on the player, but thinked in focus in the ghanges of physics laws, and tryied to make more clean.
thats really the big question to me, if the puzzle elements are enough, too much or repetitive.
thank you again, that's a amazing feedback
i made some fixes, hope it's better now! thanks again
Will play and complete it again today
hey I played it again.
It would be nice if u mention control info in game main screen and itch page. like A,D,E for game and tab for menu(I don't know what to press to get menu at first).
yeah, this is a risk that I preferred to take. I didn't want the game with many explanations, you know? the movement can be both in the A and D as in the arrows, for the jump and interact I left instructions in the first level, some players don't got it at first, but I didn't want to fill the screens with instructions, you know? the menu I put in both the esc and the tab and I think they are very intuitive for those who already have the habit of playing - which is who I think will feel the need for the menu.
but I will consider making the instructions clearer.
thanks again for the feedbacks!
i mean, the controls are fine for in game.
u can add details in itch page of the game in form of simple matter. (so players can just see it in the page not in game.)
'Escape' is mostly minimizing full screen when playing.
got it, nice!
thanks again!
